Planet’s Pick of the Week Ending September 06, 2009 September 10, 2009

Posted by elearningtyro in : Announcements, Planet's Pick , trackback

We are glad to announce the ‘Planet’s Pick of the Week’ (August 30, 2009 to September 06, 2009).

The ‘Blogger of the Week’ is Michael Hanley

During the previous week, Michael posted five blog posts on podcasting for e-learning. In one of his posts, Michael listed the advantages of hard disk recording to store digital audio for podcasting. He also announced the release of his new podcast episode, “Transatlantic: The Flying Boats of Foynes”. Through his other posts, Michael initiated his series of forthcoming blog posts on editing podcasts using Audacity, an open source multi-track audio editor and recorder.

The ‘Blog Post of the Week’ is ‘Visitor to Second Life‘ by Ken Allan.

In this interesting post, Ken shared his experiences after visiting Second Life, the Internet’s largest 3-D virtual world community, for the first time. It is for sure that any visitor, who did not explore Second Life yet, will become too curious to visit it after reading Ken’s post!

Congratulations, Michael and Ken!
